A calm, slow-moving lizard, the Crocodile Skink spends most of its time in trees. The Crocodile Skink can be found in very humid regions such as rainforests. They also live on mountain ridges at moderately low elevation. They prefer areas with relative humidity of 95 to 100% that receive at least eight feet of rain per year.
